About CodeLint

A product, cloud and DevOps team, built in Islamabad

We started in 2022 as six cloud engineers. Today we are 50+ people who design and build products, run the infrastructure under them and automate the releases in between.

Who we are

One team from first commit to production

CodeLint began in Islamabad in 2022 as a small cloud team. Our first clients were startups whose AWS setup had grown out of one engineer’s scripts, and they needed it rebuilt as code before it fell over.

Those clients kept asking whether we could build the product too, and then test it, and then add AI features to it. So we hired for each of those. We now cover web and mobile engineering, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, QA automation and applied AI, with one senior engineer accountable for each project.

More than 500 projects later, the reason is the same: most teams have good people and too many vendors.

When one team owns the app, the cloud and the pipeline, nothing falls between the gaps.

Timeline

Four years, one milestone at a time

From a six-person cloud team to a full engineering partner.

  1. Six cloud engineers in Islamabad

Started as a small AWS and Terraform team doing infrastructure clean-ups and migrations for startups that had outgrown one engineer’s scripts.

  2. First Kubernetes platform client

Moved a 200-person fintech from hand-managed VMs to EKS with GitOps deploys. Our first multi-month platform engagement, and the template for the next dozen.

  3. Product engineering joins the platform work

Added web and mobile engineers (Next.js, .NET, Flutter) so clients could get the app and the platform from one team. From then on, most engagements covered both the product and the infrastructure under it.

  4. AI practice launched

Started shipping retrieval-based assistants, semantic search and demand forecasting into client products, with evaluation and cost tracking built in from day one.

  5. 50th team member, 500th project

Crossed 50 people across product, cloud, DevOps, QA and AI. Most new work now comes from existing clients and their referrals.

How we work

Five rules every engagement runs on

The same on every project, whether it is a four-week MVP or a year-long platform build.

A demo every week

Every Friday you get working software on a preview URL, a 20-minute demo call and a written changelog. No month-long silences.

You own everything

Code, cloud accounts, domains and designs live in your organisation from the first commit. We are added as members, never owners.

Fixed quotes

A written scope and a fixed price before work starts. The number only changes if the scope does, and you approve it first.

Documented handover

Runbooks, architecture notes and recorded walkthroughs, so your team can run it without us.

Senior engineers on every project

A senior engineer leads each engagement and joins every call. Juniors pair with them rather than working alone on your product.

How it works

From first call to production in four steps

The same process whether you are a founder with an idea or a CTO with a platform to fix.

Demo every Friday · preview URL · changelog

  1. 01

    Discovery call

    Day 1

A senior engineer learns what you are building, what exists today and what a good outcome looks like.

  2. 02

    Plan and fixed quote

    Week 1

You get a written scope, an architecture sketch, a milestone plan and a fixed price or monthly estimate.

  3. 03

    Ship and review

    Every week

Working software on a preview URL every Friday, a short demo call and a written changelog.

  4. 04

Run it or hand it over

    After launch

We stay on with monitoring and an SLA, or hand over with runbooks, docs and recorded walkthroughs.

Work with the team behind all this

A 30-minute call with a senior engineer, not a salesperson. Tell us what you are building and you leave with a rough plan, a timeline and a price range.
